Dolmens in Cherwon

Dolmens in Cherwon image

DETAIL VIEW

Northern-stylish, originally it consists of a stone room consisting of four plank-shaped memorial stones, of which one is missing. Gaeseok (cover stone of the stone room) is fairly large in size at 402m x 3.05m x 0.24 (12.26㎡), and the size of the stone room is 1.51m x 0.58m x 0.55m (with floor footage of 0.88㎡). Groups of dolmens, apparently in northern style with four memorial stones and one cover stone over them, were gathering on the little basin of the valley of Mt. Dukryung in a single file with the same shape, same direction, and at regular intervals. Currently, only two of the original seven dolmens remain and piles of stone implements and potteries without pattern were found at and around the site; 20 of them were exhibited there.
