Located in the upstream of the Hantangang River, Jiktang Falls is a waterfall composed of bizarre cliffs and natural straight-lined, oddly shaped rocks. Its magnificence, weirdness, and beauty overlap, making it one of the nine scenic spots in Cheorwon. This waterfall, which is full of natural beauty with the clear and abundant water of the Hantangang River, is located just 2 kilometers upstream from the spectacular Goseokjeong Pavilion. It is widely known as “Korea’s Niagara Falls” with a width of 80 meters and a height of 3 meters, making it the best place to vacation in the summer. The flavors of the spicy fish stew cooked with freshwater fish caught here is famous.
